Get to know Tom Ledermann


In my research, I aim to develop new or extend and combine existing methods to address novel or more specific questions, especially for the analysis of dyads and triads, such as couples and families. Some of the better-known papers my colleagues and I have done include the analysis of mediation and patterns in dyadic data and the phantom model method. Other approaches we have discussed are dyadic hybrid models, the dyad-level growth curve model, and the multimember multigroup Actor-Partner Interdependence Model for the analysis of group composition. More recently, we proposed the Caring for Bliss Scale to measure the extend of caring for bliss or genuine happiness. I enjoy collaborating with scholars from different fields and working with students.
