Interests

In my current role, I have oversight of faculty development and enhancement at nine campuses across the state, as well as graduate and continuing medical education. My areas of interest and research include learner-centered teaching, teacher effectiveness, coaching and leadership, adult education, and professional development in higher education.

FAMILY

I draw energy and inspiration from people and bodies of water – streams, rivers, seas, and oceans. Whenever limited time and finances permit, you will find me on banks, beaches, or before the masts of boats and ships. On weekends I volunteer at nursing facilities for older adults.
