Dr. Morgan Lancaster, a recent Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) alumna, was awarded the 2020 American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Graduate Student Research Award. This is the 7th time in the last 8 years where an FSU MFT student has earned a top research honor from AAMFT.
Morgan received her master’s degree from East Carolina University in Marriage and Family Therapy and has accepted an Assistant Professor position in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Converse College. Morgan’s program of research involves aspects of family violence and how members are able to remain resilient to adverse outcomes.
