The Research Showcase is an annual event that recognizes the outstanding research being done in the College of Human Sciences by our graduate students. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to network with graduate students and faculty within the College. The event program will be posted in early February.
Students should complete the form below and submit it along with the abstract (a word document) to Tara Hartman by the posted deadline. Space is limited and applicants will be notified after the submission deadline if their presentation was selected. Presentations will be judged and monetary awards are given to the top three students in each category.
Presentation categories are as follows:
- Short oral presentation – 5 minutes with one stationary slide, or
- Long oral presentation – 15 minutes with unrestricted number of slides
Both options have a 5-minute Q&A period immediately after.
Undergraduate students completing an honors in the major are eligible to apply for the short oral presentation. Space is limited and applicants will be notified after the submission deadline if their presentation was selected. Please work closely with your faculty advisor (thesis mentor).
