Two CHS faculty receive 2019 FSU Undergraduate Teaching Award

Join us in congratulating Dr. Kristen Greene and Michele Garber as recipients of FSU’s 2019 Undergraduate Teaching Award!
Both professors were selected by a committee of faculty and students. The University Teaching Award recognizes teaching excellence as multi-faceted, involving areas such as providing a positive role model to students, imparting a respect for truth and a love of learning, challenging students’ thinking and assumptions, showing respect for all persons, and innovative instructional techniques.

Awards will be presented to Greene and Garber at FSU’s Faculty Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the FSU Alumni Center.
The College is incredibly thankful to have such talented individuals who show such excellence in teaching and dedication to their profession.
Michele Garber teaches in the Department of Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences. She is the Assistant Department Chair for NFES, as well as the Associate Program Director for Athletic Training and the Health Professions Learning Community.
Dr. Kristen Greene teaches in the Department of Family and Child Sciences. She is the Assistant Department Chair for FCS, as well as the Director of the Center for Couple and Family Therapy.
